Art Studio Class Notes

Students have been exploring a variety of art techniques in the studio, including painting, charcoal drawing, and renderings inspired by animal-made structures. They’ve also been experimenting with materials like watercolors and clay to expand their creative approaches.

We continue to work on our collaborative project inspired by the intersection of architecture and nature. This piece, which draws heavily from Antoni Gaudí's architectural style, will be displayed at the Parrish Art Museum’s student exhibit, opening on March 15th. To bring their vision to life, students have been plastering the structure, blending natural forms with architectural elements to create a dynamic work of art.
