Senior Learners Class Notes

We enjoyed our first trip to Bridgehampton Library. Kelly Harris, the library’s director, toured us through each section of the library, and the kids had the opportunity to check out range of items from novels to language learning audio books. The class is in conversation about building a daily reading habit and will formalize a system of accountability for our independent reading sometime this week. This week the kids will adjust to their full sched-ule of math, gymnastics with Barry as well as rotation into studio, science with Jon, and kitchen. Our weekly homework assignments will begin next week. (Each week we read a non-fiction article and write a response. If you come across an essay or newspaper article that you want to share with us - please pass it on.) Our class dinner is scheduled for Thurs-day, October 3rd and Julie O’Neil and Larissa Troy (our class parents) will contact you in the near future.
