Julie's Class Notes

We have been working on building our models of playground structures. We are using a scaled down model of the hill to create structures that will fit in that area of the playground.

We have also finished our non-fiction read aloud of, The Boy who Harnessed the Wind, by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. The story was inspiring and different because we don't usually read non-fiction as a read aloud. We are now reading The Girl who Drank the Moon, by Kelly Barnhill.

You may see poems that we wrote all over the school. They were inspired by "Spring”, written by Nikki Grimes.
