Lucy’s Class Notes
This month, our Hayground Museum curators have reached an exciting milestone with over seven hours of interviews completed. Now, we’re shifting our focus to how this valuable information will come to life in the museum. While visitors will hear selected audio excerpts, artistic and interactive displays will represent much of what we’ve learned. Our goal is to create an immersive, hands-on experience where learning and play go hand in hand. We can’t wait for our visitors to discover how informative and meaningful the stories we’ve gathered can be — but you’ll have to visit the museum to see just how we make it happen! The opening day will be announced soon!
In addition to our museum work, our class has been busy preparing for the upcoming release of our “Budding Authors” books. With a range of genres, including informational texts, mysteries, and imaginative tales featuring food characters, each story showcases the creativity and dedication of our young writers. Through thoughtful peer editing and collaboration, we’ve worked hard to refine our writing, illustrations, and storytelling techniques. We are incredibly proud of our progress and can’t wait to see our published books at the local library for the whole community to enjoy!
