Julie and Jackie's Class Notes

In keeping with our class endeavor to eliminate waste, our class repurposed political signs so we could share our Hayground values with those who pass by Hayground School. The students brainstormed the qualities and goals we strive for at Hayground, and we posted the signs by the back entrance to the school on Mitchell Ln.

We are nearly done with the cardboard designs the students are bringing to life with up cycled cardboard. Our intention is to donate their creations to the youngest classes, but many kids have said they don’t want to part with what they are making. We should have interesting discussions about this.

We are preparing for our Feast of Remembrance on Tues. 11/26. This year we will be honoring childhood, and so our cardboard creations will be on display, as they were made with childhood in mind. Our Remembrance Wall is up, and ready to be filled with mementos of people, pets, or anything your child wants to remember and honor this year. I have shared some family photos with the class that I will be putting on the wall.
