For the past week, we have investigated the question: "Can changes that occur during

heating and cooling be reversed?"

Our class has been so busy that the days have flown by. We can't believe it is almost Halloween!

We are getting into the groove, literally and figuratively, in the month of October!

October is flying and we are taking every opportunity to be outside!

The first day of fall blew in cool and crisp, just as it should be.

Our first full week of school was a great success! The kids enjoyed their time in the kitchen, garden and studio and navigated their math classes with ease.

The school year could not have started off any better!

The students are knee-deep in work. They are working on turning their memoirs into google slides

and adding appropriate images that tie in with their memory to create a visually beautiful memoir.

It is so hard to believe we are in the final weeks of the school year! It is an extremely exciting

time in our classroom, as our chicks are nearing the end of their incubation.

"To be, or not to be?" Is apparently the question the sun is asking itself on a daily basis but at least some warm

weather is starting to hit us.

March came in like a lion but went out less like a lamb and more as a golden retriever in from a fresh romp in a puddle, shaking water and mud all over the walls.

With the change in seasons it came time to revisit the chestnuts that have been quietly waiting in the cold of our classroom refrigerator.

The classroom has been busy and productive as the children push towards their publishing deadline.

Our discussion of evolution and the long history of the universe led to an investigation of time-

lines.

In like a lion, out like a lamb! Indeed, as the snow falls outside today, it's hard to believe that we are on the cusp of spring.
